Welcome to the Leather & Down Terms and Conditions, outlining the guidelines and policies that govern your experience with our handcrafted furniture.
We provide complimentary delivery on all orders across the UK mainland, excluding Northern Ireland, offshore islands, and certain Scottish regions. Additional fees apply for the following postcodes: AB, CA, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV, KA, KW, KY, LD, LL, ML, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TD, TR, TQ.
For many items, we offer free next-day delivery via DHL, though this service excludes heavy or oversized products and is contingent on stock availability. Should an item be out of stock, delivery may take 8-12 weeks. To verify your delivery specifics, please reach out to our customer service team through live chat.
At present, international shipping is not available on the Leather & Down UK site. However, our US and EU platforms are under development. For shipping to these areas, please contact us directly. With warehouses in the UK, Germany, and the United States, we may be able to fulfill your request.
If you experience any damages, please report them in writing within 14 days of the delivery date. Likewise, any change of mind must be submitted in writing within this 14-day period. Claims submitted after this timeframe cannot be accepted. To process a claim, include four photos of the product, four photos of the packaging (including the label), and keep the item in its original packaging. We recommend contacting us promptly via our website’s live chat for swift handling.
Transit Damage and Assembly Checks
For items damaged during transit, please reach out with photos of the affected areas. For flat-packed products, inspect all components upon delivery before assembly, as replacements may not be available.
Returns for Manufacturing Defects
We accept returns for manufacturing defects, subject to approval by our Returns Team. This includes free collection of faulty items, with specific terms and conditions applying. Keep the product in its original packaging and email us with up to four images of the damaged item and packaging. Avoid altering the product, as this may impact your return request.
Refusal and Traceable Returns
We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet our policies. Refused items will be returned to you, incurring additional postage costs. Returns must be sent via traceable postage, as we cannot process exchanges or refunds without receipt of the items. We strongly advise using traceable methods.
Availability and Refunds
Items are subject to availability checks upon ordering. We cannot be held accountable for unavailable or delayed items. If an item cannot be supplied, we will provide a refund and offer store credit as an apology for any inconvenience.

Delivery charges vary depending on the product and service selected and are non-refundable. Charges will be clearly shown at checkout. While we aim to deliver within the estimated timescales, delays can occur due to unforeseen factors. We are not liable for any delivery delays.
You may cancel delayed orders at any time before dispatch for a full refund. If an item has been dispatched, return charges will apply, and these will be deducted from your refund. We advise checking items for damage before arranging replacements or disposing of existing furniture.
